How to prepare

Enjoy Maté Mate HOT

1. **Boil Water:**
- Heat water to a temperature just below boiling (about 70-80°C or 160-180°F). Boiling water can scorch the leaves and reduce the beneficial properties and flavor of yerba mate.

2. **Steep the Tea Bag:**
- Place one Maté Mate tea bag in your cup or mug.
- Pour the hot water over the tea bag, ensuring it is fully submerged.

3. **Steep Time:**
- Let the tea bag steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength. For a stronger flavor, you can steep it a bit longer.

4. **Enjoy:**
- Your Maté Mate is now ready to drink! You can enjoy it as is, or add sweeteners like honey, sugar, or natural alternatives like stevia to taste.

5. **Refill and Enjoy:**
- You can refill the same tea bag with hot water 2-3 times throughout the day. This allows you to enjoy the natural energy boost and flavor of Maté Mate multiple times with just one tea bag.

Enjoy Maté Mate COLD

1. **Choose Your Container:**
- Select a glass or pitcher that can hold enough water for your desired serving size.

2. **Add Maté Mate Tea Bags:**
- Place 1-2 Maté Mate tea bags into your container, depending on how strong you want your brew. Generally, use one tea bag per cup of water.

3. **Add Cold Water:**
- Fill the container with cold, filtered water. Ensure the tea bags are fully submerged.

4. **Steep Time:**
- Let the tea bags steep in the cold water for at least 15-20 minutes. For a stronger flavor, you can let it steep longer or even refrigerate it overnight (8-12 hours).

5. **Remove the Tea Bags:**
- After steeping, remove the tea bags from the container. You can gently squeeze them to release any remaining liquid.

6. **Serve:**
- Pour your cold-brewed Maté Mate into a glass over ice. You can enjoy it as is or add slices of lemon, mint leaves, or your preferred sweetener for extra flavor.
